What you'll see at the polls May 20
On February 10, 2014, the Board approved the wording for the referendum question and submitted it to the county elections board for approval. Here is the wording to appear on the ballot May 20. All registered voters, including Independent voters, can vote yes or no on this question. A majority "yes" vote authorizes funding for the project and the district can proceed as planned. A majority "no" vote halts the entire process and does not allow the district to move forward with needed renovations.

Shall debt in the sum of eighty-five million dollars for the purpose of financing new construction and renovations for the State College Area High School be authorized to be incurred as debt approved by the electors?
