ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)

A variety of fee based ESL courses, including TOEFL, are scheduled for the winter/spring.

Happy New Year!  Winter/Spring program registration is underway!  Liven up the dreary days of winter by signing up for our ever-popular Digital Photography, Woodworking 101, or Italian Conversation and Culture courses.   A sampling of courses from our Winter/Spring program guide is listed below.

COMPUTER COURSES 

 

It's not too late to learn some basic computer skills in a small group

school setting or individually in the convenience of your own home.  A beginner PC course will be offered on Mondays & Wednesdays, January 28 - February 6, 6:30-8:30pm, 150 HS South.  The fee of $95 includes a text. 

Learn basic or specialized computer skills at your own pace in the comfort of your own home.  By appointment for SCASD residents.

      ITALIAN CONVERSATION AND CULTURE          

 

BEGINNER  Mondays and Wednesdays, January 21 - February 20
INTERMEDIATE  Mondays and Wednesdays, March 11 - April 17 (Excluding March 27 & April 1)
UPPER INTERMEDIATE  Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 22 - February 21 
6:30-8:30 pm, 
110 HS South. 
The fee of $150 for the Beginner course includes a text; other courses are $110. 

POTTERY FOR ALL LEVELS
Learn basic wheel throwing techniques focusing on two major shapes, the cylinder and the bowl.  Explore decorating, trimming, and basic glaze techniques.  Offered on Mondays, January 21 - March 18 (Excluding 3/4) or April 8 - June 3 (Excluding 5/27), 6:00-8:30 pm, Lower Level, Fairmount Avenue School.   FEE:  $140 (Includes 25 pounds of clay).
