STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

Each week, our teachers nominate a Student of the Week for each grade level who are consistently "Doing the Right Thing" academically and behaviorally. Last week's BMS Students of the Week are:

NO SCHOOL TOMORROW
There is no school for students tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4. Beachwood Schools staff have a professional development day tomorrow.

WASHINGTON, DC TRIP PARENT MEETING

If you missed the Washington, DC informational meeting, please click here to access BMS school trip information. Please keep in mind, the first trip payment is due by Nov.3.

 

NOV. 6TH STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES

You should have received your student-led parent conference reminder in the mail this past week. Please review the assigned conference times. It is important that you show up with your child at the assigned time so that everyone has equal time to review student portfolios. If you have a conflict with your conference time, please contact the middle school office.

 

IOWA/CogAT TESTING

The 7th grade class will take the IOWA/CogAT test during the week of November 10th. There is no late start on Wed., Nov. 12, for the entire school; School begins that day at 7:30 am.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
The Scholastic book fair is coming to the BMS Library! Students can shop for books during school hours November 5th, 6th, and 7th. All forms of payment are accepted. PTO BISON BLANKET FUNDRAISER

The PTO is offering Black Plush Fleece Blankets (50" X 60") with Bison Logo Embroidered in Corner (comes with a carry strap). There is a limited number of inventory for sale and there will be no reorder. Cost is $35. Proceeds go to BMS PTO which directly supports Beachwood students. Email Lisa Owens with your order while supplies last or call her at 216-691-8929.

 

PTO MEETING MINUTES

Click here to read the PTO minutes from the Thurs., Oct. 2, meeting. We still need parent volunteers for 7th Grade Challenge Day on Feb. 5. Parents will need to be available the entire day from 7:15 am until 3:15 pm. Please email me if you are interested.

 

FRIENDS OF THE BEACHWOOD ORCHESTRAS FUNDRAISER

Sunday, Nov. 9, 4-6 pm
Freeway Lanes - Solon (33184 Bainbridge Road)

Bowling, Raffle Baskets, Silent Auction and Music
 

$25 per adult admission
$15 per student not performing for the fundraiser
$5 per student performing with the orchestra for the fundraiser (all students must be accompanied by an adult)


This is a fundraiser for the Beachwood Orchestras. The majority of money we raise will come from the silent auction, not from admission. The silent auction will be cash or checks only.
