All interested students in grades 6-9 and their parents are invited to an informational meeting for the BMS Science Olympiad Team this Wednesday, Oct. 15, 6:15- 7:30 pm, in the BMS library. Science Olympiad is a competitive science team where the students compete in a variety of different events ranging from biology and chemistry to earth science and hands-on building. Ms. King will be coaching the team and is very excited for the opportunity to build a competitive team which will carry on a legacy for years to come. If you are not able to make it to the meeting but are still interested in the program, please email Ms. King. Click here for more information about Science Olympiad prior to the meeting.

If you missed the Washington, DC informational meeting, please click here to access BMS school trip information. Please keep in mind, the first trip payment is due by Nov.3.

LAST CHANCE to order your Beachwood graduation year class t-shirts. The shirts are a nice way to show school spirit at school events, 7th grade Challenge Day, and 6th and 8th grade camps. Shirts are cotton, black, short sleeved. The front reads "Beachwood" along with the bison mascot. The back of the shirt is the graduation year (2019, 2020 or 2021) with the name of each student for that grade listed. They can also be worn in high school! Click here to download the form, then turn it in with your payment to the school office by this Friday, Oct. 17. There will not be a reorder date.

Students, families and the entire community are invited to join us for this weekend's Beachwood Homecoming. Friday's activities include Friday's pep rally, bonfire, light show, food trucks and more - beginning at 6 pm at BHS. The Homecoming football game is Saturday at 1 pm - Go Bison! There is also a Pumpkin Patch for families on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at BHS. Click here for more information about this weekend's Homecoming schedule.

The Scholastic book fair is coming to the BMS Library! Students can shop for books during school hours November 5th, 6th, and 7th. All forms of payment are accepted. Click here to check out our website for more fair information, book previews, and shop the online bookstore and more. Email Julie Ungier with questions.

The fall mixer is Friday, Oct. 24, 7-9 pm, in the BMS cafeteria. All BMS students are welcome. Admission is $5. The dance includes a DJ and peanut-free snacks. Students may wear a Halloween costume, although it is not required. No masks. Students will be released promptly at 9 pm. Please make sure rides are arranged to pick students up at 9 pm. Students are not permitted to walk home in the dark under any circumstances.
