Does this sound familiar? You are sitting down to relax near a window after a long day and feel a cool draft. Your thermostat is turned to 68 (where it should be) and you are cold and NOT relaxed. Now you have to get up for a blanket or sweater, or move to a chair away from the window.
A common misconception is that your windows are drafty. However, the case may be that air is cooling and condensing along the pane and sinking down and onto you, also known as convective air flow. Have your windows tested for just $100! This is a limited-time offer and ends November 15th. Our window test helps assess if warm air is escaping from your home through the windows, or if you might just need a covering to reduce drafts. Infrared thermal imaging will be used with a blower door to reveal air leaks. We'll help you find the best solution - whether it is insulating honeycomb blinds, window plastic, or simply air sealing. 4CORE's Tom Zajicek, nationally certified building science expert, is now taking assessment reservations. For additional information or to sign up, email us or call (970) 259-1916. |

Southwest Solar Transformation Initiative (SSTI) represents a regional team of public and private partners committed to advancing solar power adoption across participating municipalities within the Southwest region. SSTI is targeting communities in the Southwest because the solar resource is abundant, but its enormous potential has been largely untapped. The focus of this program is to drive solar market maturity via significant improvements in five key areas: Permitting, Planning and Zoning, Interconnection, Net Metering and Financing. |
