Ramping Up

Business must have gone through the worksite wellness, sustainability, and energy assessments, as well as have implemented one recommended action from their report.

 

Making a Difference

Business must have achieved the 'Ramping Up' status, and have implemented three recommendations, one in each area of Energy Efficiency, Worksite Wellness, and Sustainability.

 

Going Beyond

The highest level of recognition in the program, businesses that have made nine improvements, three in each area of Energy Efficiency, Worksite Wellness, and Sustainability, are certified as 'Going Beyond'.

Level of Certification: Ramping Up

Improvements Made: Upgraded lighting from T-12 to T-8 light bulbs, saving 14,426 kilowatt hours (kWh), $1,371 and 25,347 pounds of greenhouse gases annually! Also removed an old warehouse wall heater and installed a duct to heat the warehouse with the higher efficiency storefront heater.

Other: In addition to upgrading their heating and lighting through the RSBP, Brown's Sport has also previously taken many actions to be Resource Smart, such as recycling, reusing boxes for shipping, training employees on efficient lighting usage, and sourcing products from companies with strong sustainability practices, among other activities.
