Ramping Up
Business must have gone through the worksite wellness, sustainability, and energy assessments, as well as have implemented one recommended action from their report.
Making a Difference
Business must have achieved the 'Ramping Up' status, and have implemented three recommendations, one in each area of Energy Efficiency, Worksite Wellness, and Sustainability.
Going Beyond
The highest level of recognition in the program, businesses that have made nine improvements, three in each area of Energy Efficiency, Worksite Wellness, and Sustainability, are certified as 'Going Beyond'.

Pet Haus
Level of Certification: Ramping Up
Improvements Made: Installed a Thermal Entrance Door to minimize air infiltration and heat loss. Upgraded lighting to LEDs, with an estimated annual savings of $415 and 3,771 kilowatt hours for the lighting upgrade. This is a return on investment (ROI) of 6 months!
Other: In addition to upgrading their entry door and lighting through the RSBP, Pet Haus has also previously taken many actions to be Resource Smart, such as sourcing local and made in Colorado pet products, offering whole, raw, organic and non-GMO pet food options, using green cleaning products, offering biodegradable plastic bags for products, accepting drop-off plastic bags for re-use, using slow-drip irrigators and xeriscape landscaping, installing low-flow toilets and sink aerators, recycling, not printing receipts unless requested by customer, offering in-store trainings on pet nutrition and hosting Humane Society Adopt-a-Thons, among other activities.
