Energy Efficiency
You've heard of power strips and how they can help you keep from wasting unnecessary energy, but have you heard of smart power strips? Not only can smart power strips protect you from phantom watts, but they can also be programmed to power down your auxiliary devices like printers and speakers when you turn off the computer they are linked to. If you use many electronic devices at the same time, look into smart power strips as a way to save energy.

Worksite Wellness
You work hard, but don't over work yourself. Did you know, according to the Department of Labor, fewer than half of all state employees take their breaks during an eight hour day? Breaks relieve stress, increase productivity, and help you stay focused throughout a long day. Help yourself achieve more by letting yourself take a breather when you need it.

Overall Sustainability
This one might be hard to believe. Despite what you may think, studies really do show that using a dishwasher, on average, uses less water than hand washing. Machine washing uses 5 gallons on average vs. 27 gallons by hand. So, indulge yourself next time you do the dishes and make a machine do them for you.
