Energy Efficiency
What harm could possibly come from leaving your TV or other appliance plugged in? Even when your appliances are turned off, they still draw about 10% of their operation power consumption. This slow leakage of watts is known as phantom watts. Everyday, the United States alone wastes enough electricity through phantom watts to power all of Australia! Don't forget to turn off and unplug your appliances when you're finished using them.

Worksite Wellness
 Healthy diets include sugar, but added sugar, as opposed to natural sugar in fruits and dairy, should only amount to about 10% of your caloric intake. That's usually between 200 and 300 calories worth every day. More than that can start to increase blood pressure, which in turn increases stress, weight gain, and poor moods. Don't tax yourself, stay away from sugary drinks and treats as snacks.

 Keep grocery shopping fun and engaging this harvest season. When you shop at your local farmers market, you are ten times as likely to stop and have a conversation with someone you know or your neighbors. Take a second to enjoy yourself and treat yourself with fresh local produce at your local farmers market.
