 AND THE WINNERS ARE ....

On Sunday, Dec. 1, the raffle for the U of L and UK basketballs came to a close. Thank you to all of you who participated; we wish that everyone could have won! However, the winners are . . . . .

Jr Jarvis won the U of L basketball signed by Gorgui Deing. Thanks to Jon Hile, class of 1991, for his donation of the U of L ball.

Chuck Smith, class of 1970, won the UK basketball signed by John Calipari and also the UK 2012 NCAA Championship Memorial basketball. Thanks to Myra Fugate and Jodee Nelson, respectively, for their donations.

THE CLASS OF 1978 ------ THANK YOU!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mark Perry, representing the class of 1978's Annual Gaslight Golf Tournament, presented the alumni association with $658.00, the proceeds of this year's tournament.  The donation was made in honor of the class of 1978's very own Tim Meredith.  Due to Tim's involvement in the audio-visual department in high school, the class of 1978 asked it be used for the audio-visual department, so the committee resolved to use the donation in this field.

The greatest need was established as lighting for the new auditorium.

We would appreciate any help with the selection of the new lighting from those who have knowledge or connections in this field.

This is not the first time that the class of 1978 has displayed its Charger Spirit!

Jeffersontown High School continues to be the recipient of 1978's generosity.

2013-14 JHS Alumni Hall of Fame Nominations

What do a NASA engineer, a Christian music song writer, a U. S. Army Captain, and the founder of a recycling corporation have in common?   They are all JHS graduates and members of the Jeffersontown High School Alumni Hall of Fame!
