Diamondback Terrapin at PHP
Mark Your Sightings

Pleasure House Point is prime habitat for the diamondback terrapin making it very important that we do everything we can to protect them.  LRNow is happy to be working with the VB Parks and Recreation Department on ways to protect the terrapin's nesting habitat from human and dog traffic at Pleasure House Point.  We have created a Google map of PHP where anyone can leave the
Diamondback Terrapin
location, date, time and details of a Diamondback Terrapin sighting.  If you're out walking at PHP and see a terrapin, or even an abandoned nest or eggs, add your sighting to the map.  Click here to go to our website where further instructions are available to you.  Thank you for helping us identify the Diamondback Terrapin nesting locations.

By-catch reduction devices to keep turtles from being trapped in your crabpot are available at the LRNow office.
