ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS AND WHAT THEY CAN OFFER YOU

What Landscape Architects Can Do

Landscape Architects design and plan outdoor living spaces. An Architect's design process is vital to your project. They start by creating sketches which help to begin the spatial planning for your project. Landscape Architects work primarily through design drawings to collaborate their ideas with clients and contractors.

Our Work is Much More than Good-Looking Landscapes

Landscape Architects design for how people intend to use their space.  Creating a great experience is one of their

Landscape Architect

primary concerns.  They are concerned with more than just how the landscape will look or what is planted.  They are concerned with how the space feels to the homeowner.

They Work the Big Picture

Landscape Architects are trained to think about landscapes as systems. With the use of site plans, it is the architect's job to work within the site context to design places that will fit the bigger picture.

We have Up-To-Date Technical Expertise

In addition to drawing plans for beautiful outdoor spaces, we also do things like figuring out grading plans and technical details for drainage, materials, finishes and layout dimensions. They stay current on proven techniques through continuing education credits that are required by each state. Their technical expertise goes beyond merely knowing about current trends. Landscape Architects stay up-to-date on horticultural issues and use that knowledge to design landscapes.

2015 FLOWER SHOW - SEASON OF ENCHANTMENT
The Massachusetts Horticultural Society has announced the theme of this year's annual Flower Show.  "The Season of Enchantment"  The Boston Flower & Garden Show will return to the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston on Wednesday, March 11 through Sunday, March 15, 2015.  To learn more about the upcoming show, Click Here.
NEW ENGLAND GROWS CONVENTION
Employees at ND Landscape, Inc. will be attending this year's Annual New England Grows Convention at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center between February 4 - 6, 2015.  Each year, our staff attends this yearly convention which allows us to participate in educational seminars (to remain accredited with professional licensing) and visit the Expo to discover and learn about the latest in industry related equipment and products.  It's also a great means to expand our professional network and a place where Landscape Professionals can gather to share ideas. TIPS

Water Saving Program: This program lowers the amount of water needed to keep your grass healthy.  Grassmaster Plus will treat your lawns/soils with a wetting agent four times a year.  Golf courses have been using wetting agents for over 30 years.  This program can cut your water usage by up to 33% thus saving your water bill, helping with water bans, or preserving your well water.

Scout your landscape to check for broken branches by snow, ice or wind.  Prune them off cleanly, back to the next healthy joint or bud.
