The Bold Ones
Perennials that add drama!
| The leaf of Rodger's Flower speaks for itself
|
This time of year it's easy to over look the foliage while only focusing on those fabulous spring flowers. When that happens you can end up with a group of plants that have a similar leaf size and texture without realizing it, making the garden look less than stellar after bloom time. Here's a short list of some large-leaved, bold textured perennials that will break up that sea of fine texture. Stop by and check out other possibilities soon!

What's that tree? Pink Chimes Ring Any Bells?
| An interesting, graceful, unique Snowbell |
A nice complement for the smaller landscape - Styrax japonica 'Pink Chimes' (Japanese Snowbell) is one that will turn heads for its fine foliage, graceful form, unusual pink flowers and late summer fruit. Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. It will grow about 15' high x 15' wide making it small enough to be placed in the shrub border but large enough to stand alone as a single specimen. Plant where you can enjoy the fragrant flowers up close! We currently have a nice selection of varied sizes to fit your budget. We also have the more commonly found white flowering form. Call either yard for availability and pricing.
