   We went across the street to the big propagation house, the new P-1, and talked with Dan Demers (head of propagation) to find out what the new divisions and seedlings need to put on good winter growth. It's a topic he knows a lot about!

Spring Snow Andromeda -
an awesome foundation plant!  
Here's an easy-care, compact evergreen for any landscape - especially one that is frequented by deer!

Habit- Compact plant growing 3-4 high and wide (this is a cross between P. japonica and floribunda Mountain Pieris)
Best Features - Fresh new growth is yellow-green becoming dark green for the rest of the year, flowers are light pink buds opening white lasting for weeks, deer resistant, low maintenance and it's the perfect size for front of the shrub border or along a foundation
Culture - Plant in part shade in moist, well-drained, acid soil
