Our annual Awards Ceremony is coming! ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING OUR CENTERS WILL BE HONORED with at least a certificate, and many with personalized trophies. Often, attending the Awards Ceremony helps motivate students to try to win a trophy the next year. Please remember it generally takes well over a year for students to achieve Honor Roll status. The older the student, the longer it generally takes. See below for the list of students who qualify for trophies.

We received a surprising amount of pushback at our announcement we would change class days; as a result, we will NOT be changing our class days at either Center, except that we will add Saturday afternoon hours at Fairfield for the convenience of our customers in Waller, Hempstead and beyond who find it difficult to attend classes during the week. We will experiment with this over the summer, and if it becomes popular, we will extend our Saturday classes into the fall.
Our Summer Schedule, starting June 1, is as follows:
Fairfield: Mondays and Thursdays 4:00 to 7:00 (note time change) Saturdays 12:30-2:30
Steeplechase Tuesdays 4:00 to 7:00 (note time change) Saturdays 9:00 to noon (note time change)

Each year, we award trophies and recognition to all our our students who have achieved certain benchmarks by 3/31/2016. Additionally, this year for the first time, we will also hand out awards to those newer students not yet achieving trophy status. We will be honoring ALL our students!
This year's Awards Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at the Berry Center Theater, 8877 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, TX 77433. Mark your calendars!

HELPFUL RESOURCES FOR MULTIPLICATION
When your student is working in Level B subtraction, that is a great time to start to introduce him or her to start practicing multiplication. In fact, there is a gentle reminder at the bottom of B141, 151, 161, 171, 181 and 191 to be working on learning multiplication facts.
Happily, there are several resources available from Kumon Publishing which will assist your child in learning these tables. Remember, fluency in these tables is necessary not only for multiplication, but also for division. Check out these prices! They are a real bargain.
