Spring has Sprung!
.........And so we turn our thoughts towards growth, renewal, and fresh new beginnings. The fantastic weather compels you to get outdoors and get in touch with "Mother Nature" and to get physically fit for that Spring wardrobe. It has been a very fruitful selling season that is heating up like the Spring temperatures in April. Our phones are ringing with calls of prospects coming to buy at season's end before the inventory is depleted. Many have watched their favorite picks go under contract so don't be an "April Fool" and let your dream property become someone else's!

Get Your Home Fit This Spring
Spring has sprung!
Each Spring is a new beginning, and a fresh start. Although we aren't bottled up indoors for the winter on the Islands, we have been busy with the holidays, guests and social schedules, and our homes are often not in tip top shape this time of year.
Here are a few suggestions to help with your spring cleaning.
Let's start with the windows! Cleaning the glass and wiping down the frames will freshen up your home and let the beautiful Florida sunshine in. Use a sponge and mix one part Dawn detergent with 10 parts water. Using the sponge, wash the windows with the Dawn mixture and squeegee the excess off in a horizontal direction, wiping the squeegee after each pass. After you are done keep the windows open (if it is a nice day) and let the fresh air sweep through the house.
This makes window washing quite easy. You can use the same mixture to wash hard window treatments. Take your draperies to the dry cleaner. While you're at it wipe down all your baseboards, doors and moldings. You will be amazed at the difference. For tough to clean scuff marks use Mr. Clean magic erasers, they are great on just about everything but flat wall paint.
Next , de-clutter and purge! Go through your linens and towels and weed out the ones you no longer need or use. CROW happily accepts old linens to aid in their care of injured animals.
Go through your closets, and again donate you gently used clothing and shoes to your favorite charity. Make sure to get a receipt for a tax deduction.
This time I actually organized my closet by color. I am not an organized person by nature, but this has helped me with dressing every morning, and it looks good too!
Go through all your drawers and cabinets in your kitchen and baths. Wipe them down, inside and out. Replace drawer liners if you use them. Once again, donate any unneeded items and make your life easier.

Refreshing Juice

Make Juice Not War Green Juice
2 large cucumbers (peeled if not organic)
4-5 stalks of kale
4-5 romaine leaves
4 stalks celery
1-2 big broccolli stems
1-2 pears
1" piece of fresh ginger
Juice all ingredients. Enjoy!
