Community comes together to celebrate sustainability

On Saturday April 30th, ecobeco had the opportunity to attend on of the best green events in the DC Metro area, the Montgomery County Greenfest. In addition to the displays, music and events
ecobeco VP Reuven Walder with second place award winners Anna and Jay Keller.
typically associated with festivals like this, there was the added excitement of the culmination of Takoma Park's Neighborhood Energy Challenge. The challenge pit groups of neighbors against each other in a "green-off" to win funding for neighborhood projects by implementing efficient practices and improvements in their homes.

Our vice president, Reuven Walder, was on site to congratulate a few of the winners during the energy challenge award ceremony. It was great to see so many of our customers' faces on stage, being acknowledged for their great community efforts in support of a more sustainable future!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the ecobeco booth to say hello. We hope to see you all again at next year's festival.
