The Region of Peel, Home Ownership Program has started accepting applications as of today. This is a limited availability program, once all the spots are given out the program ends until the following year.
FIRST COME! FIRST SERVE!
This program is designed to help renters who live in the cities of Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon who are interested in buying a home, but do not have the required 5% down payment to put down on a home.
The Region of Peel will provide the potential buyer with a $20,000 down payment of any resale property.
All additional costs for example, lawyer fees, deposit, and any miscellaneous adjustments are responsible from the Buyer. Therefore, having
$5,000 of additional funds already in your bank account prior to being accepted is required.
