2014 Bike/Hike Update |
VERY Special thanks to everyone who joined in for the 8th Annual Bike/Hike Event! Miles are still coming in, so far Mark Koepke has the lead with 832 miles, and Sarah Divillan- Pospisil close behind with 522 miles, she and "The gang from up North" (photo on right) were a wonderful new addition this year!!
Today, Nov. 14 we received this note..... "Sorry to be late, but every miles counts! 4 1/4 miles from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31! I first found out about this on Oct. 23, have a busy schedule, so it's not much, but am happy and blessed to be a part of this effort. Blessings, Barbara Piechocki
Barbara is right on, never too late to join in and every mile counts! Each year is unique and different, we were thrilled to incorporate multiple youth events in Nicaragua this year, please check out the pics from the Bike/Hike event in Emaplme de San Benito and the Bike/Hike event in Cedro Galan
Having event sponsors from both Wisconsin and Nicaragua help exemplify even more the equal North/South relationship we nurture between the two countries. Working Together, We Make a Difference!

Learning Center Update |
75 % of the donated items in W/NP shipments help to support the Learning Center classes.
"We would like to thank Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners for the support they provide for our women. The resulting knowledge has given us liberty, economic resources, development and empowerment. Thank you for looking out for our women, elevating our self-esteem, and teaching how to increase our economic standing and to become the protagonists of our own destinies." - Erlinda Lopez Learning Center
