Strategic Planning Survey
Did you know that in addition to books the Rockaway Township Free Public Library offers a wide variety of programs for children and adults, computer and wireless access, and a wide variety of music CDs and DVDs?  The library's Strategic Planning Committee is working to make your experience even better and we're seeking your input to help develop our Library of Tomorrow.

We are interested in learning more about our community's ideas for the library and will be conducting an online survey and a series of focus groups throughout the months of January, February, and March.

On January 18th our online survey will go live and can be found here. Print copies of the survey will be available at the library.

During the months of February and March we will be hosting focus groups in an effort to gather further information on such topics as: the Tomorrow (Brainstorming session on future of the library), Library Services and Spaces, and Library Programming. We'll be holding focus groups at both the Main Library and the Hibernia Branch.

Scott Davan, Library Director, along with other members of the Strategic Planning Committee, will moderate these discussions, which will center on discovering your informational and service needs and identifying how the library can satisfy them.  You don't need to prepare for this meeting.  Just bring a few ideas and plan to share them with the group.

This survey and series of focus groups mark an important milestone in the library's development.  Your input will help the library planners design programs, services, collections and library space responsive to community needs.

We hope you will consider participating.  If you wish to sign up for a focus group please call Scott Davan at 973-627-2344 or email [email protected].
