Summer Lego Club

Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, August 22 @ 10:00 AM 

 

Our popular Lego Club is moving to Saturdays for the Summer. Ages 5 and up. Registration required, call 973-627-2344 or stop in to reserve your spot.

Children's Summer Reading Club
Every Story Has a Hero Summer Reading Club

This year the theme is Every Hero Has a Story.

 

The club is open to children ages birth through 5th grade.

 

Here is how to join the fun!

 

1. Click the link to print your 2015 Children's Summer Reading Log.

2. Read for 1 week at home before bringing your log into the library. The first date you can bring the log in is June 29.

3. When you check in for the first time, you will be asked to fill out a registration card. You will receive a goody bag (while supplies last) and a weekly prize.

4. Each week children entering grades 3-5 have the option of entering a raffle to win a Kindle Fire instead of receiving the weekly prize.

Teen Summer Reading Club

To join the Teen Summer Reading Club, print out the reading log hereThe instructions are here.

 

Starting Monday, June 29 record all books, magazines. and graphic novels you read along with the time spent reading. Bring your log in each week and receive raffle tickets for the  weekly and grand prize raffles. For more information click on the Teen Summer Reading Club 2015 Flyer

 

The more you read, the more chances you have to win a gift card.

Henna Designs by Hayat Gul

Wednesday, July 1 |  3-6 pm

Grades 6-12

 

It's FREE. We can only take 25 people so you must sign up early. Hayat is back this summer for more henna design! Her program was so popular last summer, we've brought her back for 3 hours of henna design. We will not accept drop ins on the day of the program.

Marc Zukovich, horticulture expert and President of Sterling Horticultural Services, will discuss composting basics. Learn what you need to make your own and the benefits of building healthy soils for your lawn, garden, and more.
