The Rockaway Township Free Public Library's Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) replacement project is progressing according to schedule.

On or about Wednesday, February 6, 2013, the library's Main Level will close for demolition of the old HVAC system and installation of the new system. This is expected to take approximately 3 months.

The Main Level will not be open to the public during this period. Access to the Lower Level will be through the side entrance only. The Meeting Room on the Lower Level, which can be accessed through the Jeanette Cohn Children's Room, will contain a small collection of recent magazines, DVDs, CDs, and new books. Access to a limited number of public computers will be available. Patrons can still request materials for pickup in the Children's Room.

Rockaway Township Library patrons can use their library cards at 34 area libraries. A list of these locations is available at the library of at http://www.mainlib.org/locations.
