Looker Locks In $48M in a Series C funding round led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Looker has raised a total of $96 million since its launch in 2013.

UCSC has appointed the new dean of the Baskin School of Engineering. He will succeed Joe Konopelski, who has served as interim dean since Art Ramirez stepped down in July 2014.

Meet ZoZbot, the first consumer, modular robot that enables Robo-Gaming. Just launched last month, it was named by Tom's Guide as "Best Robot" at CES, and got plenty of other CES buzz from Mashable, Yahoo, and Gigmag.
