Paris Apartment Designs - Small But Livable?
A recent article in Paris Perfect discusses a buyer's decision process when she found a small apartment with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The article analyzes the property's pros, cons, and decorating challenges; it includes many insightful details that most of us wouldn't even know to ask about. Click here. FRENCH MASTERS REMASTERED: Chamber Music Northwest invites bulletin readers to attend the January 31, 2016 concert, French Masters Remastered, at 4 pm in Portland State University's Lincoln Performance Hall. Use discount code French online to get 20% off adult tickets; full details and tickets online. DAVID BOWIE: David Bowie, who passed away earlier this week, had a big following among the French. Check out these interviews of French fans at a FNAC store as well a Youtube recording of the hit song, Heroes, in French. In the video, which is set to photos of Bowie's life, you'll hear the English version for the first two minutes; the rest is in French and is subtitled. Paris Member Seeks Renters/Exchanges in 2016
Former Alliance students Christopher Perez and his wife have moved to Paris and now live in a 600 square foot apartment in the 15ème, near métro stops Boucicaut and Convention. They are offering to rent their apartment during the month of March, 2016. Later in the year they are seeking a home or apartment exchange (or rental if no exchange is available) for 4 weeks in September in Bandon, Oregon. They are also looking for a home or apartment exchange (or rental if no exchange is available) for 2 weeks in October 2016 in Portland. Membership Promotion Ends on Leap Day

It's Not Too Late for the Winter Term
The winter terms starts this week; more than 300 students are already enrolled for the term. Some classes are full but most have an opening or two - new students are welcome. If you miss the first class we'll figure out how to get you caught up. Classes for adults are available in the morning, afternoon and evening, six days per week. Children's classes are offered after school and on Saturdays for ages 7-10 and 11-14. Parent-child classes are also available for children 2-3 and 4-6, with the parent present.
