Perspectives on Plumbing
An Alliance member recently wrote that she was off to France to deal with a flooded Paris apartment. The topic of plumbing presents unique challenges in France. First there's the problem of old plumbing in buildings that are hundreds of years old. Then over time, less-than-perfect (not to code) modifications may be made during remodeling. Click here to read an article published June 4 by Adrian Leeds, who documents her direct experience with these issues. (The link also includes apartment ads.) A vocabulary word that will be new to many readers: a sanibroyeur is a macerating toilet!
