French Immersion Schools: News, Jobs
In last week's bulletin we shared the news about the accreditation, by the French National Ministry of Education, of L'Etoile French Immersion School in John's Landing. There is also accreditation news from our city's largest French immersi on school, the French American International School (FAIS), located in Cedar Mill. Originally accredited in 1981, the school was selected this year for re-accreditation and successfully met all criteria in that comprehensive process. Bravo to the staff at FAIS for this accomplishment.
In other school news, Portland's first and only French Immersion public charter school, Le Monde, is seeking to hire experienced independent contractors to work part-time teaching Group Music Classes and Physical Education Classes. Please visit Le Monde's website for more information and to apply.
