Finally, the Top 10 graduating seniors from each district high school were honored for their accomplishments alongside each of their favorite teachers.
EMS ISD and the Education Foundation thank each of the event sponsors and generous donors for their involvement and generosity.
Congratulations also to those honored at the event! We wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing what the next chapter holds for you. Click here to view photos from the event.

About Our People
Dr. Dana Barnes, Chisholm Trail High School Principal
CTHS principal Dr. Dana Barnes was selected to attend The Principals' Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge on July 25-28. She was chosen for this honor as a recipient of a Raise Your Hand Texas grant announced in May.
While attending Harvard this summer, she will study Family Engagement in Education and will be given the opportunity to capitalize on networking opportunities, goal setting, and campus development plans.
"I am extremely thrilled and honored to receive this scholarship and acceptance into Harvard Leadership Academy," Dr. Barnes said. "This has been a four-month process, which included several exams, essays, timed critical thinking exercises, and an interview. I specifically chose the Family Engagement Leadership program due to my belief that the partnership between Chisholm Trail High School and the Ranger community determines the fulfillment of our mission."
The Raise Your Hand Texas grant program is designed to develop highly effective public school leaders and drive innovation in schools by providing essential research to inform the public and policymakers about key legislation, which in turn, will shape the future of Texas students.
Congratulations to Dr. Barnes on this prestigious opportunity! Click here to learn more about the Raise Your Hand Texas Leadership program.
