| Teacher Lyndsey Love and fiance Blake Ellis |
Miss Love gets Valentine surprise during school assembly!
Congratulations to Comanche Springs second-grade teacher Lyndsey Love! During the elementary school's weekly "InSPURations" assembly Friday morning, her boyfriend Blake Ellis surprised her with a Valentine's proposal.
Disguised as a life-size Valentine's teddy bear, Ellis joined the assembly by handing out valentine's candy to CSE staff. During the assembly, Love was "chosen" to compete in a dance off against the Valentine's teddy bear, at which point her soon-to-be fianc removed his mask, dropped to one knee, and presented her with a bouquet of roses and an engagement as he asked her to marry him. She said "YES!"
"I was very surprised and shocked," Love said. "I figured it out when he started dancing, I noticed the dance moves."
EMS ISD celebrates with the happy couple and wishes all in our community a Happy Valentine's Day.
