Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD is excited to announce that a new look to the district logo a nd website is coming soon! This is part of a districtwide effort to increase awareness and understanding of the opportunities and excellence offered in EMS ISD, and to continue building pride in our schools and our district as a whole. Specifically, this effort is focused on: - Celebrating the long history and proud tradition of EMS ISD;
- Embracing our district vision for future-focused learning;
- Fostering unity and common goals among our schools, district, and community; and,
- Increasing awareness of student and staff achievements, academic and extracurricular excellence, and 21st Century learning opportunities.
Through our Aspire 2022 Strategic Plan, EMS ISD is transforming learning opportunities to provide the 21st Century education and skills our students need to succeed now and in the future. The logo is designed as a symbol that reflects the past, present, and future vision for the district. Be watching for the new look to begin appearing around the district in the coming weeks. Summer open enrollment begins July 1-August 31, 2015. First Financial representatives will be available at the locations listed below.

Compliance Training

All EMS ISD employees are required to take mandated state trainings each year. Please complete one of the following compliance bundles below for the 2015-2016 school year. Courses must be completed no later than Friday, September 11.
Professional Compliance Bundle 2015
The professional learning compliance bundle for teachers, administrators and other certified staff includes sections for counseling, human resources, health service, technology, special education and professional learning. Please respond to the practice quizzes at the end of each section. You are required to complete all sections and score 100 percent on the final assessment to receive credit for the bundle.
Basic Compliance Bundle 2015
The basic compliance bundle for paraprofessionals, auxiliary and administrative non-instructional staff includes sections for counseling, human resources and health services. Please respond to the practice quizzes at the end of each section. You are required to complete all sections and score 100 percent on the final assessment to receive credit for the bundle. The Basic Compliance Bundle 2015 Spanish translation will be available soon.

General maintenance employee Jeffrey Irby currently serves in the United States Air Force Reserve, Honor Guard and as security detail for former President George W. Bush.
Recently, Irby expressed an interest in furthering his education in law. On Thursday, June 4, he received a highly recommended letter from the George W. Bush Institute praising him for his integrity, hard work, sacrifice and service to our country. Congratulations Jeffrey. We wish you well in your future endeavors.
