Greetings!
I loving this autumnal weather! It smells good outside, the colors are getting more intense, and the air feels fresh and new while being reminiscent of seasons past. I have been looking forward to the cooler weather and I even love the rain, so I'm ready for this transition!
Speaking of changing seasons, I'm sure you have noticed that we have had lots of staffing changes over the past year or so, and it will continue to be so as we develop this team into the greatest ever.
I never imagined that we would change-over quite so drastically and it has posed some great challenges, as well as opportunities, and we are all rising to the occasion together.
I hope that you will consider giving us feedback about your experiences here so that we can continue to improve the service and hospitality that we offer. We can't do this without you, so yours are the most important opinions to us! You can give me a call, send me an email, or grab me the next time you are in and we can have a chat.

Monthly Fun at Monica's:
Thursday October 15, 4-6 pm
We are hosting a wine & beer social for you! Purchase a wine tasting flight, or a glass of wine, or a beer, and enjoy complimentary (so EXTRA delicious) appetizers and sweet treats, as well as some lovely, locally produced art.
Monica always has an interesting lineup of wines and of course the company will be excellent. Enjoy a quiet happy hour together with an old friend, or sit at the communal tables and get to know some new friends.
Either way it will be great fun!

Mark loves sharing his birthday with family and friends, so you are invited to his party! The staff will bake and decorate a cake for him and after we sing his congratulations we will serve it to you!
Stop in any time, Mark will be sharing his cake for as long as it lasts, but he will appreciate your good wishes no matter when they come.

Create a masterpiece, deliciously! Adults and children are all invited to enjoy a fun afternoon creating a step-by-step painting while savoring delicious cupcakes provided by Monica's Waterfront Bakery and Cafe, of course!
Friday October 16, 10 am
Start your day creatively! Enjoy coffee and pastries while you paint with acrylic on canvas,

You may be thinking "How can I help?"
Here is one small way:
Kitsap Rescue Mission is hosting a WORK PARTY and they need your help in moving vegetation (branches, leaves, pine needles, etc.) from their Mission sites to the dump.
There are 3-4 truckloads at the 5th street location and 20+ bags in the bay at the 6th street location. Mark Peterson, Operations Manager, would like to have as many people and trucks as possible to make one run to the dump on Saturday, October 10th, starting at 9:00 AM.
