Greetings!
You are all so good at rekindling my spark and I am very grateful to you for that. Even while we were in Italy hosting 14 wonderful folks on the Greatest Food & Wine Tour Ever, you were here supporting us. You continued to choose us and allow us to feed you; you encouraged the team and they all thrived in our absence; and you even voted us 'Best Bakery in Central Kitsap' again! Thank you so very much for doing all of that.
We have received great preliminary feedback from our Italy group, all of whom agree the trip was unique, delicious, and entirely unforgettable. We are grateful to Doumina, our tour coordinator, for putting this together with us each year. She makes our dreams come true!
On Saturday November 3rd we will celebrate our return by throwing one of our famous parties! Come into the cafe from 11 am- 2 pm and we will have many samples of food, a little wine, and stories from our trip! Mark is getting some of his wonderful pictures ready for a slide show to be rolling as we enjoy the day with you. If you can't make it in during those hours don't worry, we're still open 8-4, we just focus on those hours for the party.
Now here is a great event: On Saturday November 3, after the party, at 5 pm, our friend from Italy, Federico Bibi is joining us! He is the producer of our fabulous organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Umbria, and his estate makes wine, too! This will be 2 hours filled with tasting his wines and olive oil, eating some delicious food to go with it, meeting Federico and hearing about his lovely estate. Mark and I took the group there just a couple of weeks ago, and we are so excited that he has time to fit us in his schedule during his short visit to the Pacific NW.
Reservations are required for this event so we can plan all the food. The cost is just $10 and is easily the best deal you will find for a wine-maker event! call us at 360 698 2991
I know that the holidays are fast-approaching and before we know it we will be in the thick of it. I could not pass up this opportunity to stop what I am doing and thank you, so very much, for letting us be a part of your day, and for being a truly wonderful part of ours.

What's Happening? Hot Stuff!!
Meet Umbrian Wine Maker & Organic Olive Oil Producer, Federico Bibi
Saturday November 3, at 5 pm
Taste Federico's wines, premium olive oil, and our delicious food to go with it! Federico will talk about his wine and olive oil, his Umbrian estate, his passion for organic practices and if you end up purchasing any of his bottles he can sign them for you.
This is the best deal around, for $10 bucks! Reservations are necessary to get in, as there are limited spots available. Call us at 360 698 2991.
Friday November 16-Kitsap Eats Out So Others Can Eat! Kitsap's 2nd annual 'Kitsap Eats Out' event! All the proceeds will benefit free meal sites in Kitsap. You can be involved by simply dining with us, or any participating restaurant, on November 17th, and we will donate 5% of the day's sales to this cause! Even enjoying a simple cup of coffee will help! This is actually just a small part of Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. Monica's is CLOSED EARLY on Wednesday November 21 (5 pm) and all day Thursday November 22-Sunday Nov. 25
We would happily entertain the idea of catering that weekend, just ask; otherwise we are closed for the holiday.
Celebrate at their party Nov 9 & 10! Our favorite neighbor, HEART, is turning 18 and the party is at the Silverdale store, only! Friday November 9, 12-7 pm and Saturday November 10, 12-6 pm There will be music! PLUS they will give away gifts, prizes, food & drinks!
