The Voice of Business Spring 2016

Voting is a right and the ultimate expression of our freedom. As the voice of the business community, the Greater Akron Chamber encourages our members to promote the importance of voting to their employees and to educate them on the ballot issues. The following is provided as educational information regarding the primary election ballot this March 15, 2016.

There are two ways to cast your ballot for Tuesday's primary:

Tuesday, March 15, 2016, is Primary Election Day; Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
All County Boards of Election will be open every day the following times until Tuesday, where you can cast your absentee ballot in person:

Friday, March 11th open until 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 12th 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 13th 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Monday, March 14th 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Summit County Board of Elections is located at 470 Grant St., Akron, OH 44311 (near UA campus); the Medina County Board of Elections is located at 3800 Stonegate Dr., Medina, OH 44256; and the Portage County Board of Elections is located at the Portage County Administration Bldg., 449 S. Meridian St., Rm. 101, Ravenna, OH 44266.
