Spring brings renewed energy and fresh ideas. It's also a good time to think about the year ahead. With this is mind, there are many opportunities for businesses to take a look at their workers' comp strategies.  The following are upcoming deadlines:

• March 31, 2016 is the:
• last date to request a change in estimated annual payroll exposure with BWC for the 2015 policy year;
• due date for the annual Drug Free Safety Program (DFSP)  report if you began the program on July 1, 2015;
• deadline for completing EM Cap program requirements;
• deadline for the One Claim Program (OCP) education requirement.
• May 1, 2016 - BWC will mail the 2016 policy year estimated annual premium notice (first installment due June 30, 2016).
• May 2, 2016 is the due date for next premium installment (This will be last installment for the 2015 policy year - please refer to information in this email about next year's installment plan and true-up process).
