Candace has lived in Kent for most of her life, and taking care of the children in her community is very important to her. She is a mother of two school-aged children and sees firsthand the need for food to be sent home on the weekends.

Candace handles the day-to-day operation of the Foundation. She is also in contact with the principals at all four schools to make sure the needs of the children are being met. She handles all the food ordering and the packing and delivering. Candace also oversees all of the marketing and event planning for the foundation.

In 2003, Candace and Ben were married the week while he was playing in the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
