Save Money with the Chamber's Workers' Compensation Group Rating Plan

CareWorks (CCI)The Greater Akron Chamber's Group Rating Program offers savings up to the maximum available discount on your Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) premium.  The Chamber partners with CareWorks Consultants, Inc. (CCI) because they help employers achieve the highest group rating discount possible.  Nearly 30,000 customers choose CCI to manage their workers' compensation plan.  Click here to download an authorization permitting CCI to provide you with a NO-COST, NO-OBLIGATION analysis.  To learn more, call CCI at 1-800-837-3200 or visit CareWorksConsultants.com.

The Greater Akron Chamber endorses CareWorks as the preferred Ohio Workers' Compensation Managed Care Organization (MCO) for our membership.

From April 28 through May 23, 2014, Ohio employers have the opportunity to select a new MCO to medically manage their Workers' Compensation claims for the next two years.

  • During this year's 2014 MCO Open Enrollment (April 28-May 3) the Greater Akron Chamber encourages you select CareWorks as your new MCO to medically manage your workplace injuries.
  • If your company is already enrolled with the Greater Akron Chamber-endorsed CareWorks, you need not do anything during this year's MCO Open Enrollment; you will be automatically re-enrolled with CareWorks.

Now is the time to partner with an MCO focused on a critical area of Workers' Compensation -- return to work.  Claims can become lost time when an injured worker is off more than seven days.  Just one lost time claim can cost significant dollars.  Your business can't afford even one lost time claim.

  • CareWorks helped more Ohio workers injured in 2013 return to work than any other MCO.*
  • CareWorks had the best return to work rate for claims filed in 2013 for the five largest MCOs.*

To enroll with CareWorks, complete the MCO Open Enrollment form and fax it to 1-888-358-5319 before the 5:00 p.m. May 23, 2014, deadline passes.

Only every two years do Ohio employers have an opportunity to change their MCO. There are no direct costs for MCO services as their fees are included in your BWC premium.

Don't miss this limited opportunity to select CareWorks as your new MCO.  For more information, call CareWorks' Open Enrollment team toll-free at 1-888-627-7586 or learn more online at www.careworksmco.com.
