ArtCetera invites local YPs to attend Helen Welch: The Music of The Beatles
Enjoy a cash bar and light appetizers before the show with ArtCetera members and friends. The Fab Four wrote many different kinds of songs and love is the theme in almost all of them. So for this performance take a trip down the long and winding road to the gorgeous setting of the Akron Civic Theater and join song-stylist Helen Welch with her fabulous trio as they lend their voices to the music of the Beatles.
The evening will feature an array of timeless songs including romantic classics such as 'In My Life,' 'Here There and Everywhere' and 'I'll Follow the Sun.' Helen will be joined by pianist Rock Wehrmann, bassist Bryan Thomas and drummer Mark Gonder. Together they will re-visit these beautiful melodies with a blend of pop, jazz and blues that will inspire and remind us that great music knows no boundaries and that the Beatles were masters when it came to writing songs.
Admission: $5 for ArtCetera members; $10 for non-members (Become an ArtCetera member at the event to receive $5 admission)
