Thirty Outstanding Young Professionals have been selected for the 7th Annual 30 for the Future Awards Program!
Thirty G reater Akron region young professionals have been named the recipients of the seventh annual 30 for the Future award. Part of the Greater Akron Chamber's strategy to attract and retain talent in the region, the 30 for the Future award honors young professionals (ages 25-39) whose stellar contributions impact their industries and the Greater Akron region.
The 7th annual award recipients will be recognized at a gala celebration at The Tangier on Thursday, September 12, 2013.

YPN Leadership Luncheon Series: Hosted by Akron Children's Hospital
The YPN Leadership Luncheon Series was created to provide young professionals a more in-depth opportunity to access and learn from established leaders, network with peers and provide employers opportunities to showcase their organizations to the community's emerging leaders.
The event will include networking, lunch and a presentation featuring:

YPN Nights Presents: Golf 101
The YPN Nights Golf 101 event is back by popular demand!
To some, golf is a fun, enjoyable sport, to others, it is a necessary business skill...then to many, it is an enigma. Sound familiar? If so, learn some golf basics at the YPN's Golf 101 event! As part of the YPN Nights series, we invite YP's to learn some new golf skills, brush up on old ones, or just network with your peers.
YPN Nights will consist of several events throughout the year so stay tuned for more special attractions! You can pick and choose which YPN Nights to attend, or attend all of them!

Looking to Plug into the Community? Join a YPN Crew Today!
A crew is just another name for committee. The YPN has three crews that focus on our key initiatives: Next Generation Leadership, Marketing the Region and Community Engagement. Each Crew works smart to bring valuable, interesting and unique opportunities for YPs from all professions and backgrounds.

ArtCetera Membership Meeting
ArtCetera will host its summer general membership meeting on Tuesday, July 9 at 6 p.m. at The Office on North High Street in Akron. Learn about ArtCetera and Akron Area Arts Alliance, brainstorm event ideas for the coming year, ask questions, share ideas and hear about being involved on the ArtCetera planning committee.

Virtues & Vices: Child Guidance & Family Solutions
On October 4, Child Guidance & Family Solutions is hosting an evening of fun, entertainment, food and beverages as they initiate their new fundraiser, Virtues and Vices!
Fairlawn Country Club will become a classy nightclub of crooning lounge singers, smooth libations and a high-rolling raucous gaming casino with card-sharks ready to test your mettle while Virtuous Volunteers stroll through this den of good times and delicious temptations offering redemption for your fun-loving habits.
Your support helps to ensure that Child Guidance & Family Solutions continues to provide support to the children and adolescents in our community who are suffering the challenges of mental, emotional and behavioral health issues.
Tickets are $95/person with a Young Professional Organization ticket price of $75/person. (Tickets will be available for purchase prior to the event. Follow the event on Facebook to ensure you are first in line!)
