Feel the Love with this Valentine's Day Centerpiece
You don't need to be crafty to make this Valentine's day centerpiece. With a couple of household items and a smidge of creativity, how cute will this look on your kitchen table? Simply take a mason jar and fill with faux snow that can be bought at any craft store. Shown here are branches that were sprayed with white paint, but if you want to skip that step that's okay too (there are no rules here). Hearts can be made out of construction paper, colored cardboard, etc. and decorated any way you'd like. You can even tie them on with colored ribbons for added decoration.

Turn Glassware into Valentine's Day Décor
I love this idea! Don't save that pretty glassware for the BIG holidays... this is the perfect opportunity to use it AND in a whole new way. Simply purchase red roses, remove the stem and place them beneath the upended glasses. Place pillar candles on top and you have an instant arrangement that can be placed on a table as décor or used as a centerpiece. Hint: Red roses tend to keep their color once they wilt so they are probably your best choice.

Table for Two?
For the floral centerpiece, use red hot candies to line the inside of your vase. Pick up some wooden letters at a craft store, paint and decorate. If you have colored dinnerware, mix it up with your table linens to create a colorful place setting. Serve it up with a side of candy hearts to deliver a Valentine's day message to your sweetie. |
