What's New

April Showers bring May flowers and also conferences and events in our greenroof & wall world!  Make sure to attend at least one of these wonderful ones in your part of the globe, and see the full list at Upcoming Events:

2013 Greenroofs & Walls of the World™ Calendar

April features The Native Child and Family Services of Toronto (NCFST) in Toronto, Canada. NCFST is a family and child focused holistic organization with a strong sense of environmental stewardship and Native cultural base. Bioroof provided the materials and expertise to create a plant palette that would be instantly recognizable to the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) who lived on the land that would become Toronto five centuries later. Plants include the traditional Anishnaabe (Ojibway and Algonquin) medicinals cedar, sweet grass and sage; core vegetables are corn, beans and squash. Visitors enjoy natural log seating and a fire pit; the heart of the community roof is the Healing Lodge.

The Greenroofs & Walls™ of the World Calendar series combines two of our most popular destinations on Greenroofs.com: The Greenroof & Greenwall Projects Database and Upcoming Events.
