They all looked rather stunning!

We loved seeing alumni, former & current parents as well as former faculty come to Chapel to say good-bye to some beloved faculty and staff!
It sure was a wonderful Chapel and everybody enjoyed the moving tributes!
We will miss Iris Sullivan, Peter Hiller, Lorrie Stiles, Marnee Ramos and Sandy (Rosenbaum) Schuller!

Alumni voices were heard on campus when both the York and Stevenson choirs came to perform for our students.
Cassidy Hausmann-Mason '13 was a soloist with the York choir, while
Alexander Barrett '11, Jack Hewitt '11, and Chris Archer '12 sang with the Stevenson choir.

Jack just finished lacrosse season with the Stevenson Varsity team. He loves LAX, and is honored to have been voted team Captain for the coming year by his coaches and fellow players. He will be working as a lifeguard this summer, hiking in the Sierras, playing lots of lacrosse and water polo, and also will be traveling to visit several college campuses.

Claire was the team captain of the Stanford Cardinal IHSA Equestrian team, which competed at this year's National Finals in Harrisburg, PA in May! Stanford's team was on a roll, having won the Regional and Zone Finals earlier in the season to earn the right to compete at National Finals. Claire had also accumulated enough points during the season to compete as an individual and in the Cacchione Medals class. Claire earned a third place medal as an individual and a top 10 - podium in the Cacchione Medal finals. She is looking forward to her internship this summer at Bain & Company management consulting in San Francisco, and to living in "the City" with three good friends.
Congratulations to Violet Carlsberg '06.

She just graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BA in Economics and a Minor in Social Studies.

She will travel to Ireland and New Zealand and live in Spain for 3 months.

We sure hope she'll keep us posted about her travels!

Camille Littlefield '06 just graduated from Tufts University School of Engineering.
Cami will join AECOM as an environmental engineer based in the Boston area in June.

Brita represented the United States as a member of the Women's Freestyle Skiing Halfpipe Team in Sochi, Russia.
Upon her return home, wewere very proud to host our Olympian in Chapel, where she shared her experiences in Sochi and graciously answered questions.
Afterwards she joined her Dad, Thad Sigourney, and helped teach P.E. to the 6th graders, while the 3rd graders cheered her on!

Our fourth graders were lucky to have another visitor, Lindsey Rockwood '96 (and parent of Austin Cook '20.) Lindsey is a veterinarian at Toro Park Animal Hospital on Portola Drive in Salinas. The students enjoyed learning about animal care and her profession.

She comes each year with some furry and not-so-furry friends, and it is always a treat!

Thank you for sharing your passion with us!

Sarita (Garcia) Whitmore '95 visited our fourth grade to talk about Cinco de Mayo.

She told them about the history of the holiday and talked to them about being the owner of Sarita's The Original Mexican restaurant in Monterey on Soledad Drive. She brought food and the fourth graders enjoyed it tremendously.
We can highly recommend visiting her next time you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.
