Scholarship Opportunity

Each year the Birdville Educational Support Staff Association offers a scholarship for BISD students.

The W.A. Porter Scholarship is a cash award with a maximum of $500 per scholarship. It is in recognition of superior achievement in citizenship, leadership, and scholarship for the purpose of encouraging the recipient to proceed into the fields of higher education in business/office related occupations.

The W.A. Porter Memorial Scholarship awards are restricted to graduates of the high schools within the Birdville Independent School District and who have successfully completed the Business Education program and/or other business/office related fields.

Applications will be available each spring through the office of the counselors at all Birdville high schools.
