CE Batik Header

-----   Friday, April 12 - Bloomfield, CT   ----

CE returns to Bloomfield, CT next week April 11-12) to hang out with the high school students, and with our regular semi=private workshop group.  We've got a few spaces left for the Friday evening workshop (April 12), and you're invited to join us!

We're stitching up a rich kuba version of my bangle bag from On The GO! Designing Accessories with Cultural Style.   It's perfect for Spring!  Bring your sewing machine, or stitch it by hand.  Then add an embellishment if desired (available for purchase in class).  It's a fun, easy project you will complete in class!

Please register by Sunday, April 7.

If you've already got your own projects in mind and just want to stop by and "say hello" (i.e., take in some Post-Winter Retail Therapy), that's fine, too, just me know you're coming.

$45 Workshop Fee Includes:  ALL Materials

(Fabric, Lining, Interfacing, Bangles)

SewJourn to Ghana 2013

Our Call to Artists deadline is coming up on MAY 1, 2013,
and we're loving the entries we've received so far, so keep them coming!  No need to create a brand new work, so consider submitting a piece for consideration for our inaugural fiber art exhibit in Ghana, October 13-28, 2013.

A clarification on the SIZE REQUIREMENTS:  Please note that the size requirement is simply this: a minimum length and width of 18", and maximum length and width of 54".   The smallest overall quilt size to submit is 18x18", and the largest overall quilt size is 54x54", and anything in between is fine. This means your piece can measure any combination within 18" and 54", such as 20 x 45", 18x50", 33x33", 48x22", etc... If you have any other questions before submitting, just contact Lisa
