Get a Flu Vaccine.
It's flu season again! A school nurse recommendation can greatly influence students, school personnel, and families to take action and get their annual flu vaccine.

NASN joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases to kickoff the official flu vaccination campaign at an event in Washington D.C. The CDC provides resources to assist us in our efforts to help spread the word about the serious complications the flu can cause and the importance of vaccination.

The vaccine is the best way to prevent missing out on any school activities this fall because of influenza.
