Put Position Documents at Your Fingertips
NASN's position documents summarize school nursing topics and are useful to school nurses, community members, the media, and legislators. Download a binder of these documents and keep them handy. Add them to a portable device such as a tablet and take them with you to meetings. Access the binder.

Deadline Approaching for Educational Scholarships
NASN members can apply for one of NASN's Education Scholarships by October 15, 2016. Opportunities include the Endowment Education Scholarship for registered school nurses pursuing post baccalaureate certification or graduate degree, the RN to BSN Education Advancement Scholarship, and the Advocacy Education Scholarship that supports school nurses participating in advocacy education programs. Be Vigilant About Ethics
NASN has ethical responsibilities to its members and the communities those members serve. School nurses practice nursing in an educationally focused system and face unique legal, policy, funding, and supervisory issues that may also have ethical dimensions. Refer to the recently updated Code of Ethics from NASN to keep ethics at the forefront of your practice.
