National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs - Final Rule

On July 21, 2016, the final rule to the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 was published in the Federal Register. The requirements in the final rule are expected to result in local school wellness policies that strengthen the ability of a local educational agency to create a school nutrition environment that promotes students' health, well-being, and ability to learn. U.S. Department of Education Issues Guidance about Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

The U.S. Department of Education has issued guidance clarifying the obligation of schools to provide students with ADHD with equal educational opportunity under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
