As you bid farewell to another school year, and look forward to a wonderful summer break, it is also time to get a few things in place for the next school year. Check out NASN's website for multiple tools and resources.

Of particular importance will be the Back-to-School Toolkit - with updates planned to be released in July. The 2016-2017 Back-to-School Toolkit will include information and tools that support clinically competent, quality student-centered care based on the Framework for 21st Century School Nursing Practice™.

Thank you for supporting your students and their health this year!

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), children do not have to be at the pool, beach, or on vacation to get too much sun. Their skin needs protection from the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays whenever they're outdoors. Unprotected skin can be damaged by the sun's UV rays in as little as 15 minutes.
