Do you or someone you know use Twitter to follow reactions to the Oscar or Super Tuesday winners? Twitter is used by millions to gage opinion and to measure what is important.

School nurses who use Twitter to highlight and discuss their role are putting school nursing in front of these millions of Twitter uses. Recent tweets from school nurses focus on healthy habits and student health, like this one, "School nurses building a #cultureofhealth. From Garden to Table. #4studenthealth."

The next time you read a story about school nursing, share a link to that story on Twitter.  The next time you try something new in your practice, share it on Twitter.  Include NASN's Twitter handle @schoolnurses and we'll re-tweet it to our Twitter followers.
