It's Your Chance to Get Involved for the 2016-2017 School Year!
Welcome back from Spring Break! We hope your family had a safe, fun and relaxing week off!
Believe it or not, now is the perfect time to start thinking about NEXT school year!
Please take a moment to complete the online PTO Volunteer Survey for 2015-2016. We need YOUR help to successfully continue PTO sponsored programs like Pizza Fun Lunch, Mayfest, Book Fair, Green Team and Art Smart!
We have opportunities for everyone, from being a room parent to helping with STEAM Night (formally Family Math Night!)! There are roles that can be handled from home and others that give you a chance to enjoy being at the school. Whatever your interests or talents may be -- we have a place for you!
Please, CLICK HERE to fill out the PTO Volunteer Survey.
It's a fun way to get involved at Hubbard Woods School!
Thank you for considering joining the team!

Thanks to the Teacher Appreciation Team, including Jenny Keller, Sarah Graham, Sarah Ko, Jessica Brosche, Amy Chudgar, Jennifer Lahti, Sarah Levi, Nicole Rivera, and Wendy Thomas, for an awesome week that celebrated the wonderful people who make HWS great!
Thanks to the amazing Spring Sing Team, who made Spring Sing a true tribute to our 100-year celebration. The event was a huge success, thanks to: Gary Wendt, Todd Burleson, Julie McDonough and Liz Vance, as well as the volunteers that helped set up and help on the night of the event. Special thanks also goes to Miss Nottingham, Mr. Klipowicz, Miss Strening and Miss Bierner. Another thank you to Flannery Buchanan who organized the Decades Dance residency that added extra excitement to Spring Sing!
Thank you to Laurie Cahill for all of her ongoing efforts to organize the Fourth Grade Chorus.
Thank you to Sara McClain, Emily Boling, the Second Grade Teachers and the parent volunteers who made the Second Grade Service Project not only a great philanthropic event but a fantastic day of commerce education. Wow, those cookies were delicious!
On behalf of the Family Math Night committee (Heather Boulanger, Sandy Carlson, Sarah Graham, Erin Luzadder, Heather Stepan and Tim Womack), Michael Collins would like to say "Thank you" to all of the volunteers who helped out at Family Math Night. "We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks especially to Judith Campbell and Todd Burleson for their time, ideas, and hard work."
