Fourth Grade Chorus Begins Soon! The 4th Grade Chorus will begin on Tuesday, October 6th at 8:00 AM for all interested 4th Graders! This year we will meet every Tuesday morning, with a few exceptions. We have already been invited to sing at a men's basketball game at Northwestern University and we are working on some other out-of-school performances through the year. Stay tuned for more details!
In our music classes, we focus on what it's like to be part of an ensemble. The chorus takes this concept and puts it into practice by expanding on our singing skills (pitch, range) as well as our level of independence in singing through 2 and 3 part music, and strengthens our ability to listen to each other and be part of a musical team. Physical warm-ups and choreography are also part of the experience.
All are welcome! Permission slips will be going home soon - be on the lookout! -Mr. Wendt
