A Successful Grand Foods Challenge!
Thank you all for participating in the most recent Grand Foods Challenge! Ms. Rhyne's fourth grade class was the lucky beneficiary of the McFlurry party having brought in the most receipts by the November deadline.
LAST CALL - Please remember to turn in any remaining 2014 Grand Food Center Receipts by Friday, December 19. The Grand will not accept any 2014 receipts next year, so now is the only time we can use them. Drop receipts in the "Grand Receipts" box in front of Ms. Kuzel's desk.

One More Non-Fiction Fest This Wednesday
You are invited to join us after school from 3:15-4:30pm this Wednesday, December 17 for a fire by the fireplace, some snacks and snuggles as we enjoy non-fiction together.
I would also love to thank the parents and kids for coming to the Non-Fiction Fest these past two Wednesdays! It has been a wonderful chance to slow down, enjoy the fire and celebrate great books together. Thank you!

A huge thank you to Book Fair Co-Chairs Nicole Rivera and Gina Fechheimer, to all the members of the Book Fair Committee and to all the parent volunteers who helped at the event. The Book Fair proved to be a tremendous success this year and the entire event went off without a hitch thanks to all the wonderful planning. Thank you again! Thank you Kindergarten Registration Chair Effie Karavites and her wonderful committee for making all of the new kindergarten families feel so welcome at Hubbard Woods. The event ran smoothly thanks to their great efforts. Thank you to Belinda Swain for her behind the scenes work at Hubbard Woods. Efforts like those of Belinda and all the others mentioned above are what make Hubbard Woods such a special community. Last but not least, a very special thanks to Nat Roberts, Lori Miralles, Abby Burtelow, Kathy Newlands, Amy Boehm and Ann Waite who heeded the call for help and assisted Ms. Mac with the hanging of the art work in anticipation of the winter sing.
